On 8/9/02010 1:42 PM, Iris said... I really enjoyed this sermon. There are so many truths here that Christians have heard over and over, yet much like the disciples we fail to really get it. I was reminded, once again, that my purpose is to be completely in Christ and Christ alone. I find myself often stuck in the thought of continuing to pursue academic success because I long for a purpose. To be able to tell someone the degree I have and be able to measure up to the world's standards of success. This sermon reminded me that this is my idle, my self made god and I need to let it go. I need to seek out those things that bring glory to the Father! I need to rest in Him, and trust in His purpose for me! Thanks for sharing from God's Word Ryan!
