MISSIONS
Matthew 28:19-20:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
What We Do:
Harvest Decatur is committed to (1) planting churches and (2) encouraging established churches that preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached people or under-reached communities. Priority is given to theologically and methodologically sound work, to partners with whom we can have long-term meaningful relationships, and to efforts to increase awareness among members of our church of needs and opportunities in local, regional, and global missions.
Be Involved:
1. Pray. Missionaries are sent to areas where the Christian faith may be persecuted, so prayer is essential to support this work. We also ask for prayers as we desire to plant another local church.
2. Go on a mission. God may be calling you to serve as a missionary. If God is urging you to share the Gospel locally or internationally, GO!
3. Support a mission trip. If you have the financial gifts to support a mission trip or church planting, share your blessing with others who are called.
4. Join the Missions Team. If you are called to serve as part of Harvest Decatur’s Missions Team, contact Pastor Ryan.
